Obituary of George Warren Karle

George Warren Karle, 88, passed away on July 1, 2018 in Morris Plains, NJ. 

Born in Brooklyn, NY, George earned his Business degree from the City College of New York. He worked as an analyst for Exxon Mobile in the New York and Florham Park offices, retiring after 30 years of service. 

A devoted husband, father, grandfather and great grandfather.  He also remained a practicing Lutheran until the time of death.  

George is survived by his children, Karen Gagnier (husband Chris), Peter Karle (wife Barbara), and his youngest, favorite, Diane Karle. His cherished grandchildren include, Samantha, Christopher, Matthew, and Michael Gagnier; Alexandra, Nicholas, and Annalise Karle; and great-grandchild, son of Samantha and Mike, Patrick Evon.

George was predeceased by his loving wife, Carol Hirschmann Karle (2008), and his beloved sisters, Harriet Hume, and Ruth Christ.

An intimate family service will be held in Nantucket where George will be at rest with his late wife Carol.

Arrangements were under the care of Dangler Funeral Home, Morris Plains.
