Obituary of Fern A. Libow

Fern A. Libow, 89, of Denville, NJ, passed away August 12, 2018 at Morris View Nursing Home.

Born in Paterson, NJ, Fern moved to Denville, NJ where she has resided for the past 88 years.

Fern graduated from Paterson Eastside High School in 1946 and later went on to graduate from Montclair State University with an Associates Degree in 1980. She owned Fern Shop in Paterson, NJ and retired in 1999. Fern was a member of the Haddassah Women's Zionist Organization of America.

Fern is survived by her loving son, Larry Winer (Marilyn) and loving daughter, Shelley Osband. She is also survived by her adored grandchildren, Ian Winer (Kelly McCall), Corey Winer (Lori), Jed Winer (Noelle), Josh Osband (Annette), and Shawn Osband, and by her cherished great-grandchildren, Dylan Winer, Thomas Winer, Benjamin Winer, Raeann Osband, Isaac Osband, Isabelle Winer, and Jesse Osband. Fern is predeceased by her caring sisters, Bernice Levy, and Lila Dyas.

Family and friends are welcome to gather Monday, August 13, 2018 at 11 am for a Funeral Service at Dangler Funeral Home, 600 Speedwell Avenue, Morris Plains, NJ. Interment will follow to Beth Isreal Cemetery, Ridgedale Avenue, Cedar Knolls, NJ.
