Henry was a dear and loyal friend for over 50 years! He was a caring human being. He did much for Morristown and helped many persons in need. We will miss him.
We extend our deepest condolences to Denise, Mary, Roma, and JoAnn.
Rest in peace dear Henry.

My grandfather was the kindest, funniest, charismatic and generous man I have ever had the honor of not just knowing, but being related to. He has seen me through my childhood and was active in my college years -- he bought our first computer and now I'm in the industry on a successful path because of this man. He told me that he always loved me no matter what and he is the only one who remained active in my life as seasons changed. I can see why there is so much love and respect for my grandpa. He was one in a million with a heat of gold and I am so honored my son got to meet him a week before he passed. Such a great man cannot be held back by those who are petty and jealous. He is free now and I wish him all the love that heaven can give him. My Opa, I love you.

Arlene and I are very sad to find the news of passing of Uncle Henry.
My family have been close to the Lams since we moved to the Morristown Area in 1956. Over the years we saw each member of the family grow up, went through high school and graduated from college. Some of us migrated away from Morristown. However, I will never forget when Uncle Henry gave a chance to work first as a busboy then as a waiter at the New York Tea Garden. As a busboy, I tried to be very diligent and filled customers' water glasses whenever I found them half emptied. At one point I was surprised a customer said "What are you trying to do? Drown Me?" I will never forget that incident. I do remember and feel grateful that Uncle Henry was very generous with his time and helped to train me in the busboy and waiter business, when I needed a summer job.
Please accept our heart felt condolences.

The loss of Mr. Lam is losing a part of Morristown history. I have such fond memories of the Tea Garden and the family. My grandmother, Alice Stevens, took care of the Lam daughters when were youngsters and loved those girls and Mr. and Mrs. Lam. My heartfelt condolences to the Lam family.
