Obituary of Guillermo Cifuentes

Guillermo Cifuentes passed away peacefully at Morristown Medical Center on September 29, 2018. He shared 74 years of love and wisdom with his family and friends. Guillermo was born and raised in Pereira, Colombia and immigrated to the United States at the age of 24. He resided in Paterson, NJ for 18 years before moving with his wife, Maria and three children to Randolph, NJ in 1985. Guillermo worked hard to provide a beautiful life for his family. He worked in the textile industry for 30 years and retired in 1999. He was also the owner of Wilmar Laundromat and Speedwell Travel in Morristown, NJ. Guillermo was an extraordinary husband, father and grandfather. He leaves a lifetime of joyous memories to his loving wife Maria of 46 years.

Guillermo is survived by his loving wife, Maria Cifuentes; and his devoted children, Guillermo, Julio, and Beatrice. He is also survived by his beloved siblings, Ruby Gonzalez, Nelly Vega, and Gloria Rodas; as well as his cherished grandchildren, Thomas, Henry, and Nina Bertolino, and Everly Cifuentes; and many nieces and nephews.

Family and friends are welcome to gather on Wednesday, October 3, 2018 from 4-8pm at Dangler Funeral Home, 600 Speedwell Avenue, Morris Plains. A Mass of Christian Burial for Guillermo will be held on Thursday, October 4, 2018 at 10:00am at St. Margaret of Scotland Church, 6 Sussex Avenue, Morristown. Interment will follow at Fairlawn Cemetery, Fairlawn.
