Obituary of Nidia Flor Garcia

Nidia Flor Garcia, (formerly Nidia De La Hoz), 83, of Montville, passed away on October 7, 2018.

Born in Barranquilla, Colombia, Nidia resided in Paterson before moving to Montville 15 years ago.

Nidia worked as a seamtress for Perk's Bridal Shop in Paterson for 20 years, until she retired in 1997.

Nidia is survived by her loving husband, Juan Manuel Garcia; and her devoted daughters, Ingrid Torregroza-Hornak, and her husband, Douglas, of Cedar Knolls, and Damaris Garcia, of Montville. She is also survived by her cherished grandchilden, Derek and Marley Hornak, and Kevin, Xavier, and Gabriela Garcia-Higgs; as well as her beloved siblings, Berty De La Hoz, Libia De La Hoz, Rebecca De La Hoz, Juan De La Hoz, Carlos De La Hoz, all of Barranquilla, Colombia. Nidia was predeceased by her brothers, Victor and Edgar De La Hoz.

Visiting will be on Saturday, October 13, 2018 from 1-4pm at Dangler Funeral Home, 600 Speedwell Avenue, Morris Plains.
