Obituary of Mary Alice Beneziano

Mary Alice Beneziano, 62, of Morris Plains, passed away peacefully at home on October 12, 2018.

Mary Alice resided in West Orange before moving to Morris Plains 16 years ago. She graduated from West Orange Mountain High School in 1973. She married Joseph Beneziano in 1975.

Mary Alice was a legal secretary for her entire working career, which included various law firms in West Orange, Livingston, and Morristown.

In her spare time, she was a parish member of Notre Dame of Mount Carmel Church in Cedar Knolls, and enjoyed volunteering her time for Cupons for Community.

In addition to her husband, Mary Alice leaves behind her sisters, Donna Bartow (Michael), of Verona, NJ, Kathleen O’Hare, of Lansing, Michigan, her brother, Robert O’Hare (Stephanie), of Cedar Knolls, NJ; as well as many loving nieces, nephews, and great nieces and nephews; extended family members; and close friends.

Family and friends are welcome to gather on Tuesday, October 16, 2018 from 4-8pm at Dangler Funeral Home, 600 Speedwell Avenue, Morris Plains. A Funeral Mass for Mary Alice will be held on Wednesday, October 17, 2018 at 10:00am at Notre Dame of Mount Carmel Church, 75 Ridgedale Avenue, Cedar Knolls. Entombment will follow at Gate of Heaven Cemetery, East Hanover.

In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests donations in memory of Mary Alice may be made to: St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital (www.stjude.org).
