Obituary of Lindsay K. Ireland

Please share a memory of Lindsay to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.

Lindsay Ireland, 26, of Randolph passed away on Oct. 14, 2018. Before moving last year, Lindsay lived in Madison for 13 years.

Lindsay was taken far too early. Having recently completed her Masters degree at Columbia University, she started her dream job as a reporter for the Daily Record, The Record and the USA TODAY NJ. She truly believed in journalistic integrity and reflected that in her work.

To know Lindsay was to see her bright light; her contagious smile and laugh lit up the room and everyone’s lives. She was a loving family member and kind, devoted friend.

Lindsay was the beloved daughter of Lisa Noury & the late Louis Ireland; loving granddaughter of Judy Stansfield & the late Henry A. Stansfield; Louise Biasi & her husband, Joe; & Gary Ireland; treasured half-sister of Julia Ireland; dear niece of Vallerie & Dave Varick; Henry & Anita Stansfield; and caring cousin of Kelly & Ryan Varick; & Michael Stansfield.

The family will receive visitors on Thurs., Oct. 18 from 4 to 8 pm at Dangler Funeral Home, 600 Speedwell Ave. and on Fri., Oct. 19 at 10:00am for Mass at St. Virgil’s R.C. Church, 250 Speedwell Ave., both in Morris Plains. Lindsay will be laid to rest with her Father at St. Mary’s Cemetery, Montgomery, NY.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Lindsay’s favorite charity, Habitat for Humanity (https://www.morrishabitat.org/
