I am so sorry to hear of Joan's passing. I have so many memories of visiting Allison and Joan's cheerful, optimistic chats with us. I still have two of the paintings she gave me when I married (my sister-in-law stole the third one!) Rest in peace; ;you gave back to the world more than you ever took from it, Joan.

I extend my prayers, and my sympathy to Joan's family. I met her at St. Thomas More when she would come, while at Sunrise. Since I was also at St. E's and Drew, some others from there introduced me to your mother and told me how great an artist she was. She was such a kindly and gentle woman. May she now live and exult in the beauty of eternity.
