Obituary of Concetta "Dina" D. Pallotta

Concetta “Dina” Pallotta, 77, was called to Heaven on Tuesday, October 30, 2018 at the age of 77.

Born in Magisano, Italy, Dina was one of five daughters. For most of her life, Dina resided in Morristown, where she loved to live and was surrounded by many close friends and family members. Dina was proud of her Calabrese roots, and her door was always open for a dish of pasta, or to have an espresso, and a tarale.

Dina worked for the Mennen Corporation for 35 years. She was also a parishioner of St. Margaret’s Church in Morristown.

Dina was a loving grandmother, wife, mother, and sister. All knew her for having a kind heart.

She will be forever remembered by her precious son, Louis, and her dear daughter, Rose. She will also be fondly remembered by her two cherished grandchildren, Briann and Niko, who filled her life with joy; as well her sisters, Phylis Castellana, and her husband, Tony, Mary Scarpetta, Teresa Pisano, and her husband, Vic, and Angie Threlkeld, and her husband, Wayne; and their extended families – whose togetherness and love for one another was plain to see. Dina was predeceased by her beloved husband, Vincent; her parents, Rosario and Rosina; her sister-in-law, Nanny; her brother-in-law, Raymond, her niece, Christina; and her nephew, Bob.

Family and friends are welcome to gather on Friday, November 2, 2018 from 4-8pm at Dangler Funeral Home, 600 Speedwell Avenue, Morris Plains. A Funeral Mass for Dina will be held on Saturday, November 3, 2018 at 10:00am at St. Margaret’s Church, 6 Sussex Avenue, Morristown. (**Please go directly to Church.**) Entombment will follow at Holy Rood Mausoleum, Morristown.
