Obituary of Hallie Louise Davis-Mittl

Hallie L. Davis Mittl, age 92, went home to be with her Lord and Savior on Wednesday, December 12, 2018.

Hallie (Flora) was born to William and Ann Flora in St. Louis, MO on March 20, 1926.  She was one of 7 children.  Hallie graduated from Clayton High School in Clayton, MO.

A longtime resident of Convent Station, Hallie lived in the same home for the past 53 years. 

Hallie had a successful 25 year career as a realtor with Weichert Realtors, working out of the Morristown East office.  She earned many significant sales awards during her tenure.  Hallie was an avid tennis player, loved golf and enjoyed working outside in the yard.  She loved all kinds of music and loved to sing and dance.  Hallie’s interests also included fashion and interior decorating.

She was a member of Madison Baptist Church in Madison for many years and was a lover of all Christian hymns.

Hallie is predeceased by her first husband of 45 years, Gordon Davis, and is survived by their 2 daughters, Suzan Napolitano of Bedminster and Tracy Roscigno of Long Valley, her husband, Michael and 4 grandchildren, James R. Napolitano, Caitlyn Napolitano, Justin Roscigno and Zachary Roscigno, as well as a brother, Bud Flora of Birmingham, AL.

Hallie is also predeceased by her second husband, Robert Mittl, who passed away in 2012.  She is survived by 2 step sons, Bob Mittl of Charlotte, NC and Steve Mittl of Essex Junction, VT and 5 step grandchildren.

An intimate family celebration of her life was celebrated on December 16th. In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation to the Alzheimer’s Association (www.alz.org).
