Obituary of Brian F. Boucher

Brian F. Boucher lost his brave battle with cancer on Friday, December 28, 2018 at the age of 70.

He left his family broken hearted.  He is survived by his devoted wife, Patricia; and his loving sons, Brian P. and his wife, Kim, of Westfield, Matthew, and Conor, both of Morristown; as well as his cherished grandchildren, Tiernan, Reagan, Rory and Liam. Brian loved being with his sons and grandchildren. He took great pleasure in attending all events they participated in, from sports to dance recitals. He will be missed tremendously.

He is also survived by his siblings, Dan, Joe, Judy, and Tish as well as many loving family and friends. Brian was predeceased by his parents, Letitia and Joseph Boucher, and his brother, Michael.

Brian graduated from St. Joseph of the Palisades High School, West New York, NJ in 1966. He earned his Undergraduate degree from Seton Hall University, and his Masters degree from Farleigh Dickinson University.

Brian worked for Western Electric and followed the path of many to AT&T, Lucent Technologies, and retired from Avaya. He proudly volunteered with the Morristown Little League for 25 years.

Brian touched and amazed many with his sharp, funny wit, always ready to tell a joke even to his doctors and nurses while battling cancer for 10 months.

Family and friends are welcome to gather on Sunday, January 6, 2019, from 2-6 pm at Dangler Funeral Home, 600 Speedwell Ave., Morris Plains, NJ  07950. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Monday, January 7, 2019, at 10:00 am at St. Virgil’s Church, 250 Speedwell Ave., Morris Plains.  Interment will follow at Holy Cross Cemetery, North Arlington, NJ.
