Obituary of Edward "Bud" H. Miller

Please share a memory of Edward "Bud" to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.

Edward H. Miller, "Bud", 91. passed away peacefully surrounded by loving family on February 7, 2019. He was an amazing husband, father, brother, uncle, grandfather and friend. He lived his entire life in Morris Township which looked very different as he was growing up. He lived at the farm which was called "Puffs Tavern" which had been an old stage coach stop. There, he and his family milked cows and delivered milk to the community. Driving a team of horses would be the only time Bud ever drove. He enjoyed hunting, trapping, fishing, and trap shooting mainly with his Uncle George Nunn and George's sons. He also loved his sister, Bette, and enjoyed watching her children grow and be a part of their lives. Bud joined the army in the 40's and was stationed at Camp Carsen in Arkansas and then Camp Hale at Cooper Hill Ski Tow in Leadville Colorado. On February 14, 1969 Bud married his sweetheart Doris Miller that he had known most of his life. He gained 2 beautiful daughters that day and a few years later they had another daughter. Bud worked his whole adult life at GW Coffee which was later called Tetley Tea. He walked to and from work every day for 47 years. In retirement Buds garden grew even bigger and he loved to give vegetables to the neighbors. He lived in a very special community of friends that have been extremely supportive through all of life's journeys. The family has the assurance of knowing that Bud is with Jesus his Lord and Savior. He is survived by his wife Doris Miller, his daughters JoAnn Lewis, Karen Green, Paula Miller and 9 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren
