Obituary of Alta D. Struning

Alta D. Struning, 95, passed away April 6, 2019 at her home in Morris Township, NJ.

She was born in Jersey City, NJ on February 29, 1924. She resided in Strafford, PA before moving to Morris Township, NJ 51 years ago.

Alta was a homemaker who enjoyed reading, cooking, traveling with her husband and playing bridge with friends.

Alta was a parishioner of The Presbyterian Church in Morristown. She was also an active member of Morristown Women's Club and Greystone Park Association.

Alta is survived by her devoted daughter, Carol Giulino and her husband, John of Chester, NJ. She is also survived by her adoring grandchildren, Meghan Delaney (Paul), Geoffrey Giulino (Danielle) and Colby Sciuto (Steven) and cherished great-grandchildren, Charlotte, Maia and Luca. Alta is predeceased by her loving husband, William Struning (2017).

Family and friends are welcome to gather on Friday, April 12, 2019 from 3-7 pm at Dangler Funeral Home, 600 Speedwell Avenue, Morris Plains. Interment will be Saturday, April 13, 2019 at 11 am at Restland Memorial Park, East Hanover - please meet directly at the cemetery.
