I'm so happy we got to see Lucy back in August. I loved her so much. She was a very positive influence in my life. We had some wonderful times together with the family. She had a way about her that was so welcoming and always had something cooking. She taught me how to make a lot of her family recipes. Stuffed artichokes, gravy, eggplant parm to name a few. Rest in peace now with Jim. He's been waiting for a while. I loved her so much. The family included us in weddings and holidays and many other occasions over the years. After we moved to Texas, when we returned to NJ for visits, we always made a point of getting together. I fell in love with the family in 1968 and that love never died. May God keep her in his loving arms. We will never forget her.

Nana Lucy, you will be dearly missed by me. You and Pepop are my roots, the place I call my home. You always made sure I was part of the family. I miss all the times we shared: fashion shows, trips to Loehmans, anchor swim club, your 50th anniversary. I know you and Pepop are dancing in heaven now. God bless until I see you again.

I always looked forward to my visits to Lucy at her home. To me, sunshine always beamed from her face. Her sense of humor was a delight to see, hear, and enjoy. She simply was joyful and fun. Our creator has now called her back to illuminate his heavenly home. Bye bye for now, Lucy; thanks for having me in your family. – Dave Fleming
