Walter, I am so sorry to see that your mom passed several years ago. I came across this by accident when reading the obituary about my brother-in-law, Dennis Leary. Dennis was married to my husband's sister for 46 years and was 66. I think of you often. You and my dad were great friends and he always spoke very highly of you. I've lived at Hamilton Court, Apt. 2-I, since 2006 and was so sad to see the posting for Madeline this afternoon. She was always -- always -- someone I'd be so happy to see -- whether in the hallway on our floor or often in the lobby or out front on one of the benches. I read her obituary and it so fits with how she seemed to be: kind, generous, gentle and a positive, bright soul. She also had a wonderful, calming voice and more than a few times seeing her and saying hello and smiling with her lightened my serious or stressed-out mood . We also shared occasional laughter at some of the kooky goings-on here at Hamilton Court -- and I will truly miss seeing her. I wish the best to all of you -- Wendy T. Rice
