Dale,
Your knowledge of obscure items with regards to the railroad industry was always impressive and appreciated. Enjoy the birds eye view for the trainspotting buddy. You will be missed. RIP

Dale was one of a kind. I will truly miss his laugh. He treated us like family and I consider him my first brother from another mother. The Lake Raponda crew is getting smaller every year. From our family to his; Our sincerest condolences.

I first met Dale 38 years ago when i joined the Madison Vol. Ambulance Corps. He was the Capt. at that time and gave me a very warm welcome. He was always willing to help a new member. I have been on countless calls with Dale and always admired his dedication to the patient. He once said to me "when i first met you i knew you were going to be a good member ".This has always meant so much to me.He was a great friend and an excellent EMT. He was " Mr. MVAC "
I will miss him dearly .

I knew Dale during High School. We were both active in the Madison Ambulance Corp for many years and considered him a very close friend. Since hearing of his passing, he has been in my thoughts reminiscing about all the times and events we spent together along with other friends during that time. We are here in this world for such a short time. And we never really realize the impact we have on others. I was lucky to reconnect with Dale over the past recent years. My condolences to his family who I never got to know. I know he will be missed. Memories and deeds cannot be erased. I know he will not be forgotten and I will have fond memories. RIP Dale.

I had the pleasure to work with Dale for over ten years. One of the most genuine people I have ever met. A true pleasure to work with. I don't ever recall Dale being anything but happy and engaging with all he interacted with. I will miss him.

Whenever I think of Dale my heart lightens. He knew how to treat a new coworker as if they were an old friend and he always made me feel valued. However, Dale was the true gem. I will always be blessed for having known him, even if only for a few short years.
