Thanks for being such a great Dad. You were a role model for me in life in so many ways. Your limitless love for Mom was a true lesson of how to be a good husband. Your tireless work ethic inspired me to always be my best. Your support and encouragement of me as a parent let me know that you were always in my corner and gave me the confidence I needed. Your profound faith and values system taught me to treat others around me with kindness, dignity and respect. You were universally respected and loved, and when I was growing up all I wanted was to be like you. I love you and will miss you greatly, but I’ll be OK because I will forever carry the roadmap you gave me of how to live a good life.

Dr. McDonagh was a brilliant physician, a widely recognized leader in his specialty, and a generous, inspiring mentor. He was also most thoughtful in supporting me and my family during our time of great loss and sadness. We shall remember him always.
