I had the pleasure to meet Manny in Colombia, Jan 2019 on a paragliding trip and spent some memorable days and nights with him and his friend Mark. A true gent who seemed to live and love life to the full. My condolences to his dear wife and family. He will, of course, be missed by all who knew him.

Christine, Paulo, John and Family, I was very saddened to hear of the loss of Manny. I just loved it when he came to the office and talked with us. He would not only talk business we would share stories and pictures of his adventures and travels. My one memory I will hold dear is when he was in our office years ago and found out it was my birthday. He sang Happy Birthday to me and it was the best version of that song I had ever heard! It was absolutely beautiful! I will hold you all in my prayers and thoughts.

Melissa, I was so sorry to hear of the loss of your dear father. Even though I never spoke to him, seeing the love that he showed to his grandchildren at Mass and how sweetly they responded to him always told me that he was an exceptional man, a man who will be greatly missed. I feel truly blessed that Manny hired me back in 2013, and gave me the opportunity to get to know him and his family. I have such wonderful memories of Manny in the many meetings he led, where his enthusiasm and intellect were matched only by his ability to bring people together and make everyone feel important. He and Christine made our office a warm and inviting place; we all enjoyed his presence during the workday, in our office kitchenette for casual lunches and pot lucks, and sometimes after work at wonderful dinners - he always knew where to go and of course had the best wine! After he retired, I followed his adventures on Facebook with great interest and admiration. He always seemed to be doing and saying something uplifting. His light will be missed.
