UNCLE RAY WAS MY FAVORITE UNCLE. I REMEMBER HOW MUCH HE LOVED OPERA AND SENT ME SOME OPERA RECORDS AND IN LISTENING TO THEM I THEN REALIZED IT WAS NOT MY FAVORITE. BUT I STILL PLAYED THEM TO REMEMBER THAT HE AND AUNT ANNE GAVE THEM TO ME. I GOT TO SEE UNCLE RAY AT MY 60TH BIRTHDAY PARTY. EMILY I HAVE NOT SEEN YOU FOR PROBABLY 50 YEARS. I AM SORRY FOR YOUR LOSS. YOUR DAD DIED A PEACEFUL DEATH EATING A COOKIE AND THEN JUST GOING STRAIGHT UP TO JESUS. I KNOW YOU WILL HAVE TIMES OF DEEP EMOTIONS BUT YOU WILL HAVE A LIFE OF GREAT MEMORIES. MAY THE LORD TOUCH YOUR HEART AND LIFT YOUR SPIRIT KNOWING YOU DAD WAS A GREAT FATHER, A WONDERFUL UNCLE AND HE WILL BE MISSED. GOD BLESS YOU

Good morning Emily this is your cousin Dan and I want to send my condolences,
Uncle Ray was a very special man, although we only saw him occasionally, he always asked about our lives and our children and could remember things from our last times together in vivid detail.
He showed such a zest for life and I can only imagine he enjoyed having you and your family around him as he grew older.
I hope you and your family are doing well and I wish you comfort at this time.
Uncle Ray is reunited with Mom and Uncle Cliff and Grandma and Grandpa and I will always have great memories of uncle Ray
Take care Love Dan

What a blessing it has been all my life to have an uncle as wonderful as my Uncle Ray. My Mom's older brother loved her dearly and also loved all of us. Even though he moved to the East coast many years ago for a job opportunity he always stayed in touch and came to visit as often as he could. My Mom loved and admired her brother and even when she had dementia she always talked about her brother Ray and how he teased her and called her Daddy's little darling. I admired my uncle too and loved him very much. He was an amazing man and the older he got the more I admired the way he lived his life. He had an excellent mind and was quite funny! I will never forget having the chance to visit with him and his daughter Emily and her family a few years ago when my husband and I got an opportunity to travel to New Jersey. Uncle Ray was still so vital even into his 90's and connecting again with my cousin Emily was precious.
I wish I could be there to give you a hug, Emily, and your husband, children and granddaughter. I know Uncle Ray is with Our Lord, Aunt Ann, Mom, Uncle Cliff and Grandma and Grandpa. But I know you miss him so much after spending so many years knowing and loving him. I send you my love and will keep you always in my heart and prayers. Till I see you again - I love you!
