First met Vinnie in 1972 he was the investigator assigned to investigate me when I applied to become a Newark Police officer. We would on and off meet the next twenty six years on the job, and later after retirement. Been from Ireland, had many chats about the homeland along with his brother Thomas that he was so proud of. sincere condolence to his family. R.I.P. brother. Det William (Bill) Murphy.

I did not know Mr. Vincent Martin, but I know his daughter, Debra Martin. I know that for Debra, her parents are always a priority. I had an inkling of the impressive life accomplishments of Vincent Martin just by knowing my friend, supervisor, and colleague Dr. 'Deb' Martin, as she has followed in his footsteps to be impressive herself. Mom and Dad Martin must have been parents to celebrate. To live to 93, and to fill those years with such meaning, is something to hope for and aspire to for us all. I mourn this great loss for you all, and I send my sincere healing thoughts and prayers to the Martin family. Regina Delo
