I met Andy through our mutual friend, Lee Carlson (who also recently passed), at the Essex Steam Train. Over several years, and many conversations about trains and NJ, Andy and I became friends. He invited my wife and I to join him for his birthday party on the dinner train, and only a year ago gave some of his HO trains to my sons. He was always a kind and generous person, and we appreciated his friendship. He is missed. But I’m sure he and Lee are having a grand old time playing with trains in the afterlife…

Andy was a wonderful boss. He was one of my first bosses out of college, and it was great introduction into the corporate world. We had worked together from more than a decade and I have learned a lot of great values from him, some of which I still use today. Thanks for everything Andy. May your soul rest in peace.

Andy and I met while working at Solix many years ago. He was one of the kindest, most genuine people I have ever had the pleasure of knowing. Always a gentleman, always kind and caring, he was a welcome presence in the office. I recall numerous occasions when Andy would check on me when I was working late, making sure I arrived safely at my car when it was finally time to leave. He took care to be sure I was not left alone there late at night. I will forever remember Andy as a sweet caring soul and I feel lucky to have known him.
