Andrew G. Dick AGE: 60• Mt. Arlington Andrew G. Dick formerly of Hopatcong passed away on June 11, 2021 at home with family and close friends. He was born in Morristown and lived in the Morris County area for 60 years. He earned his B.A. degree from Babson College. He earned his M.B.A. from Pace University. Andrew was passionate about giving to friends, his community and the many causes he supported. He had a lifelong passion from childhood for trains which started wth volunteering along side his “Uncle” John McEwan for the Morristown and Erie Railroad (M&E) and then Whippany Railroad. This early love of trains grew to a lifetime of enjoyment which led to involvement with the Essex Steam Train in Connecticut and Tri-State Railway Historical Society. He also volunteered his time with The American Foundation for Suicide Prevention. Andy was involved with HIV/Aids Services of NY LGBT Community Center. Here he donated countless hours to assist with event organizing. He also was instrumental in assisting those without money or insurance get access to medical care. Andrew is survived by his older brother, David Dick of Harpswell, Maine . Cousin Marjorie Conley of Madison, NJ her husband Robert, their sons Christopher and John. He was predeceased by his parents, Mary Lithgow Dick and Malcolm Dick, cousins John and James Hiers. Relatives and Friends are invited to celebrate Andrew’s life during the visitation on Thursday June 24, 2021 at 4:00 pm to 6:00 pm at Burroughs Kohr & Dangler, 106 Main Street in Madison, NJ. Internment at Restland Memorial Park will be private. Those who were touched by Andy’s care and support are encouraged to pass it on by reaching out to someone in need and by thanking those who have helped others.
