Dan was an avid Bridge player. I knew Dan, first as a regular player in the Summit Old Guard game where he was considered a top player in the club, then later as a Murray Hill Bridge player. Dan had a unique bidding system which I attempted to learn so that I could partner with him. He was in great demand as a bridge partner so I only got to play with him once a month. Our condolences to Rosemary and Dan's family. Joe Masino

I loved Dan. Dan was a wonderful close friend to my Dad (John/Jack Wickens) and I'm pretty sure that my Dad and Mom "Dee" spent significant social time with Dan and Rosemarie. Happily I connected with Dan in a big way also. Dan and I played a lot of tennis and he felt like a true friend as well as a Pru executive who I admired. My wife Judy and I visited Dan and Rosemarie at their home at least once. I and my Dad were always grateful for Dan's role and heartfelt speech at my Dad's retirement party. Thank you Dan! And so sorry for your loss Rosemarie. It awesome to see your children's names and the long list of grandkids! With love, John/Jack Wickens Jr.
