Obituary of Daniel Anthony D'Andrea
Daniel A. “Dan” D’Andrea, 88, of Madison, passed away on August 25, 2021 at Morristown Medical Center.
Born and raised in Millburn, Dan graduated from Millburn High School. He proudly served his country as a Corporeal in the U.S. Army during the Korean War. He then went on to earn his degree from Brown University in 1956.
Dan was Vice President and CFO of the National Accounts Organization for Prudential Insurance in Roseland, before he retired in 1997. He was also a parishioner of St. Vincent Martyr Church, Madison; and a 23-year member of the Summit Old Guard.
Dan is survived by his loving wife, Rosemarie; and his devoted children, Lori, Cindy, Tom, Rosemarie , Maureen, and Cathey, and their respective spouses. He is also survived by his cherished grandchildren, Brianna, Anthony, Bryan, Haleigh, Morgan, Regan, Aidan, Samantha, Alexis, Matthew, Ryan, Lexi, Danny, and Nicky.
Family and friends are welcome to gather on Friday, August 27, 2021 from 5-8pm at Burroughs, Kohr & Dangler Funeral Home, 106 Main Street, Madison. (*For the health and safety of their guests, the family respectfully requests for guests to please wear masks.) A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday, August 28, 2021 at 10:00am at St. Vincent Martyr Church, 26 Green Village Road, Madison. Interment to follow at St. Vincent’s Cemetery, Madison.
For those who cannot attend the Funeral Mass, the Mass will be live-streamed on the Church’s website: www.svmj.org.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests donations in memory of Dan may be made to: St. Vincent Martyr Church (www.svmnj.org).
