I was sorry to read about Dave's passing. I am the younger daughter of Ben Seltzman, who was a close friend (& collaborator) on many inventions and projects of Dave's father, Wally W. Ward, in the 1960s. The Seltzman & Ward families spent many happy times* together at the Ward home in Chatham (NJ). Over the years Dave used to send my parents (Florence & Ben) their family's annual x-mas card; F&B enjoyed seeing pix of the children, as they grew. I would like a family member to reach out to ^me, as I found - among Ben's stuff - a dozen blueprints/mechanical drawings done by both "W3" & DBW, from the 1960s, which may be of interest to the Ward family. Ben (now 96) had great affection for the whole family, and always considered Wally one of the smartest people he'd ever met. * I have pleasant childhood memories of NYEs - celebrating at the Wards' house - and when Ben & Wally worked together on the "coffee machine." Dave was always so nice to my sister, Penny & me! I remember him as funny, brilliant and creative (he wrote spoofs to be acted out). ^email or call 207-730-1655 my cell.

Dear Joan, Carolyn and Donna, My heart is heavy to learn about the death of the amazing Dave! What a lover of life he was, and a pianist and Derby viewer, chef and more. Who could forget his player piano and other arcane projects. No Dad could ever love gus children more! Know I am thinking about you all and holding you in my prayers.
