To the Galante and Kessel Families: Please accept our most heartfelt Sympathy and Prayers in the passing of your Beloved Dad. Jesse was a wonderful and Loving true Friend... from the day we met. A kind and always smiling neighbor and beloved friend from Chadwick Beach NJ. Many a night was spent with him and Joyce playing various games together at night ( taught our grandkids to play dominoes) and other board games. It became such a great time spent together that we looked forward to rainy nights! He so loved his entire family and had a heart big enough to encompass them all. We learned much about Jesse and his many stories shared by him. God has gained a Special Angel. Jesse has left his mark on many and will be missed. Never forgotten dear Friend... Thank you for the Memories Jesse and may you Rest In Peace. Love you dear Friend. Linda and Anthony Gaudio and Family

Sending condolences to Jesse’s entire family and friends. We were fortunate to have Jesse in our lives the last 3 years. Millie and Jesse met at Arbor Terrace and soon after, started dancing the night away. He was special to my mom and they had some great times. At Millie’s 80th birthday party, they danced for 4 minutes and 25 seconds straight, without their walkers, to a lovely song, “Perfect Symphony” by Ed Sheehan & Andrea Bocelli. They spent hours on FaceTime during the pandemic to keep each other company. Jesse was special to our family and a pleasure to be with. He was a strong contender at one of our annual Jakubowski Family Thanksgiving Olympics. We enjoyed spending time with Jesse ( & Jackie). Thank you for all the joy you brought to my mom, Millie. May you Rest In Peace. We will miss you ❤️

Jesse was a part of my life for almost 30 years. He brought so much love and joy to my mother-in-laws life, Joyce Shann, as well as to the rest of our family. Joyce and Jesse had so many adventures, traveling around the world to exotic places. Jesse cherished those memories.
Jesse loved his family so much. He was always talking about who was doing what and his newest grandchild. He was sooo proud and eager to share that part of his life with us.
Jesse was a great dancer!! I'll never forget how he tossed his cane aside and threw me on the dance floor at a Country Western dinner and dance show in Florida.
He was a humble and kind gentleman. He loved Chadwick Beach and was an irreplaceable community resource wherever he lived. He practiced his faith and truly loved thy neighbor. He broke the mold. We love you Jesse. Your spirit lives on. xxxooo

I was Jesse’s caregiver in Naples, Florida. Worked for him for about 2 years. We had great times together since the first day we meet till he left Florida. We went everywhere and even took him to my family gatherings. My family love him and we still think and talk about him. I’m happy to have spend those years with him and I know how much you’ll miss him! My condolence to you all!

Jesse, dear Dad of dear friends (especially Patti and Judy).... I'll remember always when I first met you, You and Peggy came home from a movie and the first thing you did at 11 o'clock at night was take out the vacuum to sweep the parlor floor. Then on another occasion you invited me to "play socks". We went out onto the porch on Murray Street where you dumped an entire basket of laundered socks. Since it was a family of 6, it was a lot of socks. We had to match up the pairs as best we could. Yes, that was Jesse. He always had a smile and was ready for fun and to enjoy LIFE. He reminds me so much of my own Dad. Both worked very hard at blue collar jobs to support their families. [I just realized that I began this tribute using the word YOU, as though I was talking to Jesse. That's how alive he still is in my heart and memory. & Peggy too] Barbara B.

To the best pop pop a grand daughter could ever ask for-
I’ll miss your daily grandpad video calls, your face times where all I could see is directly up your nose and sometimes just your lap, I’ll miss your Instagram comments - half in all caps- the other half all symbols, I’ll miss your LinkedIn requests and your Facebook posts where you would proudly comment “this is my granddaughter.” I’ll even miss you calling me Kathy even though I cringed every time. I’ll miss your weekly call asking me for my phone number, and everyone else’s too. I’ll miss you telling me what to do and how to do it, I’ll miss your silly socks and your amazing fashion sense. I’ll miss playing dominoes and enjoying a beer together and accusing the other one of cheating when they won. I’ll miss falling asleep on the beach together and swimming in the ocean but not that one time the wave took you out and I was so scared and waving for the lifeguard but luckily you popped right up like you always do. I’ll miss your calls in the morning asking “are you doing homework?”, I’ll miss your adventurous spirit, most of all I’ll miss dancing with you but now you’re dancing with Grammy and playing poker with anyone who knows how. I hope wherever you are you’re breaking all the rules and telling someone to bring you ice cream. I miss you and I love you, pop pop.
