Obituary of Mary Ellen Cortese Bellucci

Mary Ellen Cortese, 71, passed away at St. Clare's in Dover with her loving family by her side. 

Born in Paterson, Mary Ellen resided in Wayne for most of her life before moving to Morris County. 

For most of her life, Mary Ellen worked for her family's business, Cortese Pharmacy, in Paterson. 

Mary Ellen is survived by her devoted children, Kerry Gaynor (husband Jason), Kurt Cortese (wife Stephanie), and Stacey Diou. She is also survived by her dear siblings, Warren Cortese (wife Mary), Philip Cortese (wife Sue), and sister-in-law, Carol; as well as her cherished grandchildren, Kurt, Camarin, Gianna, and Antonella Cortese; Nicholas and Madelyn Gaynor, and Melina Diou; and her adored nieces and nephews, Joyce Cortese, Brianne Tuliebitz (nee Cortese), and Elisa Arturo (nee Cortese). Mary Ellen was predeceased by her beloved brother, William Cortese. 

A Memorial Mass for Mary Ellen will be held on March 15, 2022 at 11:00am at Our Lady of the Valley Church, 630 Valley Road, Wayne, NJ. The family will host a repast meal following the Mass.
