Obituary of V. James Spiniello

Please share a memory of V. to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.

Jimmy was always ready to share his love of family, zest for life, positive outlook, kindness, and devoted Friendship...A man who always gave to others never asking for anything in return.

-----------------------------------------------------

V. James "Jimmy" Spiniello passed away Saturday, March 5, 2022 at Cooperman Barnabas Medical Hospital in Livingston, N.J.

Jimmy was born in Fairlawn, N.J. He lived in Orange, and Short Hills before settling in Mendham.

After graduation from Short Hills High School, he attended St. Leo’s College and graduated with a B.S. in Business. Jimmy then went on to work in the family-owned business, Spiniello Construction Co., for over 40 years.

Jimmy loved spending time in Vermont on his boat with his cousins and friends on Lake Champlain. A long-time fan of Giants, Jets and Philadelphia Phillies - he rarely missed home games.

His love of baseball had him coaching children’s teams and managing a men's league, while keeping up with the Yankee’s.

Jimmy also gave of his time to being in the Knights of Columbus, Morris County Friendly Sons of St. Patrick, and Ancient Order of Hibernians.

Predeceased by his parents, Luke and Grace (Semenza) Spiniello, and brother, Robert, Jimmy is survived by many loving cousins and the love of his life, Kelly Jean Kemmerer.

He will be missed by many.

Visiting will be on Thursday, March 10, 2022 from 4-7 pm at Burroughs, Kohr & Dangler Funeral Home, 106 Main St., Madison N.J. A Funeral Mass for Jimmy will be held on Friday, March 11, 2022 at 10:00am at Church of the Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary, 91 Maple Ave., Morristown, N.J.
