I only recently heard of Pete's passing. I had not seen Peter since shortly after we graduated from Sacred Heart grammar school in Newark. I lived about five houses from Peter in Vailsburg and he and I had epic one-on-one basketball games, using a basket and net hung up0 by his father on the door of their detached garage. We had loads of fun in those competitive games and really enjoyed each other's company. He was a terrific kid and from what I read in his obituary he was exactly the same as an adult. So sorry to hear of his passing. I'll always have fond memories of him.

I was sad to hear of Pete's passing. I worked with Pete for many years in Morristown garage. He was the hardest worker I've ever known and was the "go to guy" if you were ever in a jam on a job. I found this picture I took of Pete on one of my jobs. It's just how I remember him. God bless your family in this difficult time and may God receive Pete with open arms.

I am so sorry to hear this, Lee family. Peter was a good guy - I remember once he drove mark and my friends to baseball practice and we had to duck when another company truck went by. He was shadily funny like that. I’m very sorry for your loss.

I had the pleasure of working with Pete as one of his dispatchers at Verizon. Pete will be so missed. I am so sorry that I never got to meet Pete in person. He was one of a kind and went out of his way all the time to help me. May Pete Rest In Peace. My prayers are with you Mrs Lee and your family. Susan Golden

Suzanne, it was with a great deal of sadness that I read of the loss of your dear Peter in this morning's Daily Record. Although I never met him in person, I know what a wonderful, caring man he was because of your four outstanding children . He was their hero, and his special light shines brightly in each of them. Peter's legacy lives on in each of them because he demonstrated the best role model a father could display with infinite love.
