Patty was a dear friend who kept in touch after we left Morris Plains. She cared deeply about her family and enjoyed seeing her grandchildren as much as possible. I'll always remember our joyous times as part of "lunch group" when Justin, Laina, and Ross were young and celebrating holidays and birthdays together. Pat was a generous and caring person and I'll miss her. I'm picturing Patty being with Dave and watching over all of you as you grow and develop and carry on with the life lessons you've learned from your Mom.

Living in Morris Plains for over 30 years I knew Pat from the neighborhood and our children all attended the same school. She was one of the neighborhood and school moms.
I got to know Pat much better when she & her team, which included Allie & Ross, took on the task of selling my home in Morris Plains. My husband had recently died and the thought of selling it by myself was unsettling. I wasn’t alone. Pat was with me every step of the way with kindness, compassion, humor and top notch professionalism. She was also a good grief counselor. I will never forget her understanding & help getting me through this process.
May the Malpere children & extended family know what a treasure Pat was & how lucky they were to have her in their lives.

Dear Malpere family,
Her heart was full of love, my mother would say of Mrs. Malpere, thinking fondly of the times they would run into each other at Community Park. They both have a couple kids in the same grades.
Morris Plains held some stability for me, as after I moved out of state, each year I attended a different school until junior high. I have an uncommon quirk that my memories began at an early age. And so, having the same set of friends and classmates in those early years was quite precious.
Among one of those years, I was to be pulled out for several months of school to stay at my grandmother's. Mrs. Malpere, upon hearing that I was to be away, gifted me the most thoughtful care package that any little girl would treasure. The love and care kept any hints of homesickness at bay.
There were a couple years where each member of our small class of nine were picked up and dropped off one by one. And as we rounded to each classmate's home, Mrs. Malpere would always come out to greet our little bus, warmly waving at each child with a smile. I am glad to hear that she is a fellow sister in Christ, that one day, we can greet her with a wave and a smile again.

Pat was a joy to work with and the consummate professional; interspersing business knowledge with her wit and wisdom in a caring, thoughtful and heartfelt package that made her one of a kind. My bond with Pat also involved her kind words and time; especially when it involved my Special Needs son Lucas. That twinkle in her eye will stay with me forever. Pat was a true Matriarch and loving Momma Bear not just with her family, but also within our Weichert Mountain Lakes Family. God Bless and Keep the Malpere Family, Mark Rogalo

Patty, dear to me and so many others. Helpful and kind, also the sweetest friend I have ever had. From giving me my B12
injections, to putting my house up for sale after Tom died, to all the tips and references for handymen, plumbers, electricians etc.
She even let me be a maitre' d at the Madison restaurant...(Needless to say, that didn't go well)!
Our neighborhood Christmas and Halloween parties, progressive dinners, all fondly remembered. Many times I tried to have her
join me as my guest to the Morris Plains Rotary Club meetings on Friday mornings...no way! Her Fri. mornings were reserved
only for her grandchildren. I can't imagine life without one of my dearest friends...the Lord needed you more

Patti was a Juniper Drive neighbor to my parents for many years. She was a wonderful neighbor and friend and my mother always brightened up at hearing her name. As we all are saying in her tributes, “She brought sunshine into our lives.”

Charitable - the essence of Pat. As soon as I arrived at Weichert 7 years ago, Pat was generous with her knowledge, professionalism, advice and kindness. She made a novice feel welcome. And she gave generously to her community
through many volunteer projects. Pat's joie de vivre and warm smile will always light the hearts and memories of those
of us who knew her.
Sending my deepest condolences, prayers for comfort and love to her entire family.
RIP, dearest Pat. You will be deeply missed.

Pat and II became friends in book club in the last 15 or so years. From the moment we met, I was on the receiving end of her big heart, hearty laugh and many kindnesses. It is impossible to put into words all that she was and meant to so many. My heart goes out to her children, their spouses and her grandchildren who lit up her world. Thank you, Pat, for the blessing of your life and for your example. We are all better off because of you—even as your absence leaves a hole no one else can fill.

Patty and Dave moved next door to my family in 1977. They became fast friends with the entire Sambrowski family, specifically my parents, and were guests at (Jimmy’s and) my wedding. I was working at the hospital when Patty delivered her first child and I snuck up maternity and was the first person to meet Justin. Patty always had a smile. I mean always. Every time I ran into her she was so happy to see me. She will be greatly missed

Patty and I became friends very quickly when her family arrived in Madison and she joined Madison High School Class of '70. She catered my Mother's surprise 75th birthday party, and in her second career, helped me with the valuation of my family home. We drifted in and out of touch over the years, but Patty embraced every new contact with her professionalism, her happy enthusiasm, and her compassion. The world has lost a truly remarkable woman. I am devastated that her life has been cut short.
My deepest condolences to all her extended family.

Patty was my oldest, dearest friend growing up! We talked several times a year, but always around Christmas when making pecan ball cookies! Even so it was my moms recipe, Pat always could give me hints of why my cookies didn’t turn out right! I hope mine turn out good this year in honor of my dear friend! I will miss you my friend! ❤️❤️
