I attended Lacordaire Academy with Gail. I will always remember her spirit and her incredible positive energy that lifted me always. .I have seen Gail two times since we graduated High School in 1975, the last time was at a lacordaire reunion about 4 years ago. Gail hadn't changed an ounce in all those years, vibrant and full of life. I will never forget her and the impression she has made on my life. Gail is an inspiration. Sending lots of love to her family and friends, Teresa Bracchitta Petersen.

My favorite memories growing up often feature Gail, bright and laughing. Everything was an adventure. Whether we were down the shore at the Puny Palace, riding bikes on the trails behind their house, naming crabs we captured from the lagoon after the Backstreet Boys, then Spice Girls, then NSync characters. A highlight is Bosco's birthday party - I broke my arm because I was trying to jump off the Decker's swing set higher than Chris (tbd who won)... but Gail waited for Mom and I to come back - proudly with a cast - before we sang happy birthday and had cake. Because that's who Gail is, someone who threw birthday parties for the family pup and even a broken bone didn't stop the celebration. Gail and Tom are the only reason I would ever join the track team... I walked most of the season, but the car rides to practice were the best. Skinned knees and summers at Ginty turned into semi-formals and sweet 16s, and I remember the constant of Gail there through all the changes. I'm so lucky we had this special second family, full of sleepovers on school nights, dinner at the Trattoria, silly pranks, and all the growing pains that formative time brings..I'm forever grateful that I was able to share just a glimmer of Gail's beautiful soul.

Gail and I always felt that we won the in-law lottery!! We loved our kids and were overjoyed that they found each other. On top of that, we loved each other! The world will not have the same sparkle without Gail's smile and joy.
