Our condolences on your loss and a member of our extended family. The memories will always be there for all of us. While it is still raw, we all know that Tall Paul was a true gentleman, he had a lot of life long friends and a family that adored him. What more can anyone ask for ? Simply put, a life well lived. However, as we send him off, one shortcoming was Paul’s futility and inability to finish strong on the last chorus of a very sentimental and classic tune - Coney Island Baby….. So Good Bye….so long……farewell forever ….boom boom boom boom …. Goodbye My Coney Island Baby! With heavy hearts and all our love- The Hannan Clan

There are 3 measures of a man’s greatness: 1) the wife he chooses; 2) the children he raised and 3) the friends he kept. Mr. McElgunn nailed all 3. He truly was a gentle giant, unless you broke a light fixture in Johnny’s bedroom. I have never respected or admired a man more than Tall Paul, a term I only use to describe him lovingly. Rest easy Mr. McElgunn…what a legacy you have left. Matt Monahan
