Leo was a special guy and will be missed by all who were fortunate enough to have known him.
I got to know him at Twin Oaks Tennis Club and I always enjoyed our conversations. He was always cheerful and made us laugh. RIP, my friend.

Dear Hollein Family,
I worked with Leo as a tax preparer volunteers for 5-6 years at Morris County Library.
He always took good care of all the volunteers including computer issued, procedural problems and conflicts with clients. I really admire how he paid attention and helped us to do our work smoothly.
During this difficult times, I pray for comfort and peace to the family with deepest sympathy.

Leo in his happy place, hold his grand nephew, Tucker Hollein Sweeney. Leo was a second grandfather to our boys growing up. Judging from Tucker’s expression, I’m wondering if his dad, Brendan, warned him about Uncle Leo’s habit of nibbling on the ears of his young loved ones. Leo, we will miss your playful spirit, your sharp intellect, your unending generosity and service to others, and mostly your love of family and friends. The hole in our hearts today will be quickly filled with so many warm memories of how you enriched our lives, and the lives of everyone you touched.

We were so sorry to learn of Leo's passing. We both worked with him for a number of years at ER&E in Florham Park. Leo was technically sharp with an in depth understanding of refinery processing, and we both learned a lot from him. We shared his love of the Great Swamp which we drove through on the way to and from work at Florham Park. It is a great place to commune with nature either walking, canoeing, XC skiing or just relaxing. Leo will be missed and our sincere condolences to his family on their loss.

To Connie and family,
Leo was a great colleague at ExxonMobil, a friend with whom I spent many hours playing golf and tennis, and a caring human being as shown by his volunteer work at VITA and the Great Swamp. My wife and I want to express our deepest condolences on his passing and will be keeping him and the family in our prayers.

Leo was such a big help to those of us who used the VITA tax program at the MCL to get our taxes done. I just spoke to him 3 weeks ago and made my appt and we chatted about how we looked forward to rehashing our Steelers football season. He will be missed. Thank you Leo for making the VITA tax program run so smooth for those of us that used it.
Rest in Peace Leo.

Leo's gentle demeanor and smile was a sign of welcome to every new volunteer at the VITA tax training sessions.
He will be missed by all of us.
