I worked with Chris at Mountainside Hospital for a few years. She was a hoot, and I am sure will impress Jesus with her humor. God bless her family and May she always be in your hearts.

I had the pleasure of meeting Christine some 5 years ago when I joined the Riverview Bowling League in Boonton. She was a kind, gentle and sweet lady that always had a smile on her face no matter what. She spoke of her famly often and it was evident that she had great love for each and every one of them.
I admired her uncanny ability to just "tell it like it is, no sugarcoating ever." That was so very refreshing in this crazy world of today.
Her sense of humor was great no matter what the situation was. I'm sure she was a hoot in the delivery room, I would have loved to have someone with her personality rather than the usual stodgy and uptight nurses we usually encounter...
We will always remember her bright orange truck and her love of the Yankees. I personally will always remember that she would refer to the back pin in a double wood spare as "the Mother-in-Law pin." She would always say: "look out the mother-in-law is back there!" I actually had one of those the other day, I said: "this one is for you, Christine."
FLY HIGH CHRISTINE, may you be at peace with the Lord.....Heaven will certainly be a brighter place with you there.

I met Christine several years ago when I was asked to join our canasta group. My first impression was that her first love was her family, and we always heard stories of the grand children And saw the newest photos of them on her phone. She had one of the greatest memories I know and often beat us all at canasta. I never knew anyone that could tell a joke so well all the way to the punch line! I will miss her dearly. I will pray for her husband, children, and especially her grandchildren who I know will miss her dearly every day. ❤️

Christine always had a funny story to tell. She was smart and sharp and witty. Always did the right thing. She hung in there and gave her best fight. She is definitely missed by anyone who knew her.

Chris was my suite mate in nursing school. We had so much fun arm and leg wrestling! We went to coastguard parties together and Chris would hold my head when I puked on the bus ride home! When Megan was born I visited her in the hospital. My daughter Sarah was a month old and I was having trouble nursing. Chris lifted her gown and squirted milk across the room! That was Chris!! She was full of life and so much energy! Always a joke and always so positive and upbeat even through out her cancer journey. Her family was her life! She will be sorely missed and always remembered!

Chris was my hero, a fun happy woman, loving wife, mom, grandmother and sister. I loved her spirit, her ability to live life to the fullest. She came across as a tad tough, but the love behind that was what made her unique. Softball, Girl Scouts, you name it she did it. My absolute favorite more recent memory was her yearly pinecone count. Not sure why anyone would count fallen pinecones, but she did and kept a yearly tab. I got quite a kick watching her count thru the season. I would try to guess her final count and would always lose! She was a winner in every aspect of her life, and I am glad to call her a friend. Her sweet husband, children, grandchildren and brother, Father Brother Uncle Peter will always have her looking down on each and every one of them with all her love.

Chris worked for me many years at Mountainside and she always had a smile on her face and a good joke. She was a dedicated nurse, wife and Mom and ultimately a Grandma. She will be sorely missed but God got a real special angel in His army in heaven.
