Mr. Paul “Ox” Boller. What can one say about this GREAT MAN. Having 5 active and popular children, the Boller house was the gathering place for many. I was there so much that Mr and Mrs Boller thought that I was a Boller. That’s exactly how they treated me and everyone else that came into their home - like family. Coaching sports and attending his children, and more recently, his grandchildren’s events, was always a top priority. Long Beach Island was a second gathering place in the summer. This is where Mr. Boller taught me to clam, fish and crab. Mr. Boller never knew who or what to expect when he left work on Friday afternoons, heading down the Garden State Parkway. A typical weekend would be Tommy greeting him with a couple dozen chilled clams on the half shell and Mrs. Boller with a glass of Scotch on ice. Then, Tommy would tell him about the problems with the boat. So, the relaxing weekend turns into fixing the boat on Saturday and hoping to use it on Sunday before heading back to Morris Plains. These Boller stories and others, I tell all the time. Memories I will hold in my heart forever. Thank you for everything, Mr. Boller. You lived a good, long and complete life so you deserve to rest in peace. Love, Donald Scanlon

Dear Aunt Barbara, Paulie, Emil, Thomas, Frances and Theresa and families. I was heartbroken to hear the news of your dads passing. Thinking of you all and wishing you moments of peace and comfort as you celebrate the life and legacy of your wonderful Dad. I have so many fond memories of him he was always happy and smiling I don’t think I ever heard him mad or angry just always fun to be around either down the jersey shore at your house or mine I just have very special memories that I will never forget. My thoughts and prayers are with you all during this very difficult time. Rest In Peace Uncle Paul. All my love Theresa

The memories I have of Paulie a.k.a. Mr. Scotch, there are many, but just to name a few. He was the kind of man whether we were in Aruba or down the shore would wait up for Teresa and I to get home. He would always ask to take us. He treated my kids like they were his own their house was an open house played with them, practiced with them before every game, with his famous ball on the string. He always made us laugh. He will be truly missed rest in peace big guy. With All our Love The Schiavone’s
