Obituary of Cheryl Ann Clemente

Cheryl Ann Clemente, 58, of Scranton, PA passed away on January 31, 2024 at Morris View Healthcare Center in Morristown, NJ.

Cheryl was born and raised in Morristown. She relocated to Scranton, PA over 50 years ago.

Cheryl was a special, happy person who had an infectious smile and ecstatic personality that would light up a room when she walked in. Her favorite song was “Somewhere Over the Rainbow” and her favorite movie was the Wizard of Oz. She loved Hello Kitty and her favorite pastime was dancing and coloring in her books. She never went anywhere without her puppy dog.

Cheryl is survived by her loving father, Rio Clemente, of Randolph; and her devoted siblings, Rita Schultz, and her husband, Jim, of Morristown, Robin Morris, and her husband, Greg, of Succasunna, and Rio Clemente III, and his wife, Jessica, of Succasunna. She is also survived by her cherished nieces and nephews, Michael and Meg Schultz, Kyle and Paige Schultz, Delaney, Bailey, Ryan, Zachary, Nicholas, and Maximus Morris, and Hailey and Savannah Clemente; as well as her great-nieces and nephews, Jack and Bobby Schultz, and Abigail and Madeline Schultz. Cheryl was predeceased by her mother, Evaretta Gallien Williams (2009). 

A Gathering of Family and Friends will take place on Sunday, February 4, 2024 from 2-4pm at Dangler Funeral Home, 600 Speedwell Avenue, Morris Plains. It is the request of Cheryl's family that guests paying their last respects at the Funeral Home please wear some form of pink, in honor of Cheryl.
