Obituary of Ann Mezik

Ann Mezik (nee Gallagher) passed away on July 16, 2024 after a brief illness at Cape Coral Hospital in Florida. 

Born in Morristown, Ann was a Morristown High graduate, class of 1960. She was a Secretary; working for Burgdorff Realtors. She also worked for United Way "First Call for Help."

In 1997, Ann and Ron, her beloved husband, relocated to Milton, Delaware. While there, she worked for Cathlic Charities, Georgetown, DE.

Her beloved husband Ron passed away in February 2000.

Ann adored her grandchildren, Brian and James. She also loved traveling; especially going to her weekend retreat in the Pocono Mountains.

Ann relocated to Cape Coral, Florida in 2015.

Ann is survived by her son Martin Mackin, and his wife, Ellen, of Ft. Myers, FL, and her daughter, Deborah Pillion, and her partner, Jennifer, of Wilmington, DE . She is also survived by her grandsons, Brian Mackin and James Pillion.

Memorial visitation will be held on Saturday, August 17, 2024 from 3pm-6pm at Dangler Funeral Home, 600 Speedwell Avenue, Morris Plains, NJ.
