Dear Aunt Carol and Uncle Chip,
I was heartbroken to hear the news about Ken’s passing. My heart goes out to both of you during this incredibly difficult time.
As I’ve been reflecting on Ken over the last few days, I keep coming back to the memories of us growing up together. Whether it was swapping us on the weekends, running around the backyard making movies with legos or holiday dinners, those times were such a huge part of my childhood. Ken had such a fun loving and creative spirit, and I feel so lucky that we shared those years together.
I also wanted to reach out and sincerely apologize for the time that has passed without us staying in touch. Life has a way of getting busy, but please know that I have thought of you both often. I miss you all very much and truly regret that it has taken such a sad occasion for me to reach out.
Please know that you are in my thoughts and prayers. I hope that the many wonderful memories of Ken bring you some comfort in the days ahead.
