You are in my thoughts and prayers, Dennis was such a kind, caring person. He and Bill were two the special people that I remember fondly. Dennis saw the content of my character not the color of my skin. I will pray for him at Mass on Sunday. I feel so fortunate to have known such a great guy.

Certain angels are given the guise of humanity, and they strive among us to teach compassion and consideration. Often they leave too soon, with those behind still feeling the warmth and kindness that was provided by the Light in their soul, a light most could see shining behind often smiling eyes. Be at peace, for it is true, His Light was therein, sparkling with the hint of eternity, and in Faith, it is clear that His Light will again be available, and the reunion of loved ones be joyful and miraculous. Haste not, for the chance to see such kindness is promised, and among good folk these angels share a magic that lasts for all time. I offer condolences to the family that has felt the loss of this good man, and my sympathy is only for the temporary void that remains with this side of the veil, but be assured the loss is not so prolonged, and when the call comes all will see the loved ones that are waiting, for they have no sense of time, that is reserved for us, and us alone. God bless and keep the soul of Dennis Leary, and provide comfort to his family.

Dear Maryann and family, Dennis was one of the kindest, most unassuming human being I've ever met. Since both he and I (Janet) retired I've gotten to know him so much better. We used to stand in the street talking about everything from how happy we were about not having to go to work anymore to his wild days riding his motorcycle to both of us not being able to get a full nights sleep. He would always come over, completely unsolicited, and snow blow our driveway simply because he knew I couldn't do it anymore. He knew someone drove into our mailbox post and destroyed it. He came over the next day and told me not to buy one because he had one and would replace it for me. And that's exactly what he did. I offered to pay him and he didn't even consider it. Wanda and I feel incredibly fortunate to have you, Maryann, and Dennis as neighbors for so many years. On behalf of Wanda, please extend our deepest and most heartfelt condolences to everyone in the Leary/Chipoletti family. We are both saddened beyond words. We will miss him deeply. Not only for his kindness but also just his presence. With much love and affection, Janet and Wanda

My fondest memory of Mr. Leary was when us “gals” would go over Deena’s after school. Mr. Leary would always be sleeping since he worked nights and we had to whisper! Do you know how hard it is for a group of 17 year old girls to whisper!? Well we were never any good at it and Mr. Leary would always tolerate our giggles!!!
