Dear Family: I met Jim when he joined the Livestrong program at the Madison YMCA. Patty and I were his coaches and we really enjoyed working with him. I didn't know he grew up in North Arlington; my mother, her sisters and my cousins have been there for decades.Queen of Peace is their parish. I wish I had asked him about his birthplace. He was soft spoken and worked very hard to improve his health. He was very proud of his family and talked about his children and grandchildren. His eyes sparkled during these conversations. Susan I'm very sad that I missed the visitation at the funeral home and the mass at St. Vincent's Church. May your faith get you through this loss and your family's love give you strength. God Bless!

Jim was a person who truly enjoyed life while building that life with values that were exemplary. One only has to observe his family, which has been extended with in-laws and grandchildren, to know how much he valued his marriage and his children. He was a happy and successful businessman - someone you would love to work for - and a person who had wide interests. He was generous and kind and, boy, could he work a room! He will live on in all of us.
