I had the privilege of being one of Jim’s passengers for the las 7+ years. Besides being always a dependable ride, Him and Nacy where of tremendous help to my family and I when we moved to the area. His words of wisdom, his pragmatic advice and his unique perspective will certainly be missed. My sincere condolences to Nancy and family.

To the family and friends: I am sorry for your loss. Based on my experience, I would like to share a message of hope. Although he has completed his earthly journey for now, please try to fill your hearts full of love and appreciation on how he lived his life. Please be assured that Jehovah God is aware of your sadness which is why He promised to eliminate death forever. Revelation 21:3-4, 1st. Corinthians 15:22-26, John 5:28-29, Acts 24:15, Isaiah 26:19 are all future promises to those who die. May the promise of the resurrection comfort you during this difficult time. www.jw.org/en/publications/magazines/awake-no3-2018-nov-dec/

My name is Charles Dolan and my family and I have had the pleasure of being some of Jim's "passengers" over the past 10 years. We always looked forward to rides to the airport and gain some life lessons from Jim. He would always impart some of his unique wisdom which inevitably included some off the cuff language!! He would often share updates related to his family and ask how all the Dolans were doing. Jim was the most dependable person Ive ever known. If he said he would be there to pick you up he was there and if he couldn't, Nancy would step in and help. What a wonderful family! Jim was supposed to pick me up from Newark this past Sunday. I texted him from Montana to say the plane had been delayed and he immediately got back explaining that he was in MMH and needed surgery but Nancy would be there--he was also keeping his eye on the flight!! I told him to keep Nancy home and I would get an Uber and he explained that this would be retirement. To this I responded:
"u will be missed my friend! Your unique life perspective has always been enjoyed!!! Ive been lucky to know you". What a great man!!! My condolences to the whole family .

My deepest sympathies for the Hannaford Family. Jim was such a great guy, He was in fact one of the first people I got to know when I first came to the USA in 1978. In fact, Jim made sure I experienced the true St. Patrick's Day celebration on March 17th, 1978. Weleft the office at 1:00 p.m. to go uptown. After that it becomes a bit blurry. Jim thank. May you rest in peace.
