Obituary of James "Jim" J. Hannaford

James "Jim" J. Hannaford, 73, of Harding Township, passed away September 24, 2018, at Morristown Medical Center.

Born in Brooklyn, NY, Jim resided in Basking Ridge, NJ before moving to Harding Township.

He worked as a Foreign Exchange Broker for Morgan Guaranty Trust Company in NY and then at Bierbaum-Martin Securities, Inc. in NY, NY. Jim was a member of St. James R.C. Church in Basking Ridge, NJ

Jim is survived by his loving wife, Nancy (nee Doherty) Hannaford, his devoted children, the late Kevin J. Hannaford, Sr. and his wife, Eileen, Elizabeth Saraceno and her husband, Robert of Annandale, NJ, and Mr. & Mrs. Patrick G. Hannaford of Beachwood, NJ. He is also survived by his adored grandchildren, Patrick and Kevin Hannaford, Evan and Matthew Saraceno, and Ryan and Fiona Hannaford, and his caring brother in law and sisters, Florence Palm, of Staten Island, NY, Louise Pintarelli, of Monroe, NJ, Kathleen Compton, of Brick, NJ, and Bob Doherty of Bridgewater, NJ. Jim is survived by many nieces and nephews.

Family and friends are welcome to gather Thursday, September 27, 2018, from 4-8 pm at Burroughs, Kohr, and Dangler Funeral Home, 106 Main St., Madison, NJ 07940. A Memorial Mass will be held Friday, September 28, 2018, at 11 am at St. James R.C. Church, 184 S. Finley Ave., Basking Ridge, NJ 07920.
