Dear Kenworthy Family, It has been a little over a year since Charlie's birth in to heaven and I am sure this Christmas and Holiday weren't the same with out Charlie and Theresa. I have known Charlie and Theresa from the CFR Franciscan Lay Associates for a number of years.My wife Oya and Theresa both went to their heavenly reward in 2016. Us two widows were roommates on the Pilgrimage to Medjugorje and there I grew to love Charlie. I truly believe the man was/is a saint. Sure he couldn't be on time and wasn't without any faults but that doesn't mean he isn't a saint. I will do my best to remember Charlie not only be repeating his lines but also by imitating him. Especially by taking the time to stop to talk to "Everyone". God bless you all. Sincerely, Tom Lamar PS I loved watching the video

Many people receive the moniker of "one of a kind." But Charlie will always be for me "ONE OF A KIND!!!!!!!!" He carried his Faith every day and shared his Faith with everyone that he met. I have missed him dearly since he went up to Franciscan Oaks. Now I will miss him even more. Mike

Dear family of Charlie, Charlie and Therese will forever hold a sweet space in my mind and my heart and my soul. I miss their smiles which were so warm, welcoming and loving. I could always count on their loving embraces as a new day of Lay Associate Fellowship began at the MBSF. I can only imagine your heartbreak at losing your beloved ones. Your family is in my prayers....Lay Associates Day will never be the same without you Charlie, and of course your beloved wife Theresa .... Friends and family have been sharing such kind thoughts about our Dad. Dad took Rob Pasqua to get his drivers license and Charlie Curto worked with him. Ken Goodwin remarked how he would make sure he said hello at Shoprite. These mean so much to us during this difficult time. Thank you

I met Charlie ten years ago when I was a novice, and vividly remember his kindness to me. It had been almost a decade since our paths had crossed before I was reassigned to our friary in Newark. On the first Associates day after my arrival I recognized Charlie's kind smile and greeting "Praised be Jesus Christ!" Even after all those years Charlie didn't hesitate to pick up where we left off, greeting me by name and welcoming me back to the friary where we first met. From the little time that we spent together, Charlie has touched my life with his witness of love for our Lord and from that: care and love for others. I promise my prayers, Fr. Stephen Dufrene, CFR.
