Obituary of Charles M. Kenworthy, Jr.

Charles Maxwell Kenworthy, Jr., 87, more recently of Denville, formerly of Madison, passed away on November 27, 2018 at The Oaks at Denville.

Born in Schenectady, NY, Charles resided in Madison before moving to The Oaks at Denville nine years ago.

Charles earned his B.S. degree in Business Administration from Seton Hall University. He proudly served his country as an Airman, 2nd Class, in the U.S. Airforce.

Charles worked as a Quality Control Engineer for Sandoz Pharmaceuticals Corp. in East Hanover for 33 years, before he retired in 1993. He was also a parishioner of St. Catherine of Sienna Church in Mt. Lakes, and St. Vincent Martyr Church in Madison.

Charles is survived by his devoted children, Michael Kenworthy (Maureen Cole), of Atlanta, GA, Maribeth Kenworthy, of Basking Ridge, Kevin Kenworthy (Cynthia), of Succasunna, and Christopher Kenworthy, of Basking Ridge. He is also survived by his cherished grandchildren, Sarah Kenworthy, Sean Kenworthy, and Connor Kenworthy; and his dear sister, Patricia Kenworthy, of Summit. Charles was predeceased by his beloved wife, Theresa, in 2016.

Family and friends are welcome to gather on Sunday, December 2, 2018 from 2-5pm at Burroughs, Kohr & Dangler, 106 Main Street, Madison. A Funeral Mass for Charles will be held on Monday, December 3, 2018 at 10:00am at St. Vincent Martyr Church, 26 Green Village Road, Madison. Entombment will follow at Gate of Heaven Mausoleum, East Hanover.
