Spreading Kindness

~~This past week I was reading an article by Chip Gaines of HGTV fame. After the last couple of tragedies in El Paso and Dayton, Chip and his wife, Joanna, gave their audience a challenge to “spread kindness”. They felt that kindness is contagious and all it takes is one person to start with a gesture of kindness and others will follow.

After reading this article, I thought it was such a positive message to people all over the United States.
They both have such a huge following which should make this challenge move in a very positive direction.

I am inclined to agree with Chip and Joanna that most people are downright good. With that in mind,
when we share our acts of kindness, hopefully each person will pay it forward. It really doesn’t take much. Think of ways that you can show an act of kindness. How did this act of kindness make you feel? Do you think the other person will pay it forward? How do you think this challenge would be received if you shared it through social media?
